Join principal Lani Perez for an interactive session as she shares her experience implementing an innovative SDAIE and GLAD aligned math program at Salt Creek Elementary in Chula Vista. Through a balance of competency-based online instruction, data-driven math talks, and targeted interventions, teachers at Salt Creek provided all students, including multilingual learners, an unprecedented level of personalized support and challenge.

In the second year of implementation, 4th grade math CAASPP growth for Salt Creek’s economically disadvantaged Latino Students reached 240% of the state average for their subgroup, with growth for English Learners reaching over 280% of the state average.
